The newly-appointed Ambassador of South Africa visited BCCI



The newly-appointed Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of the Republic of South Africa – H.E. Thabo Thage, visited BCCI and met with the Chamber’s President Tsvetan Simeonov. Mashudubele Mamabolo, Counsellor for Political Affairs at the Embassy, also took part in the meeting.

Ambassador Thage was impressed by the Chamber’s success and the day-to-day support it provides to the Bulgarian business, with an emphasis on BCCI’s regional structure, the functioning of the voluntary Unified Trade Register of the Chamber, its membership in international partner organizations, and the activities of GS1 Bulgaria.

During the meeting, it was agreed that the fruitful collaboration between BCCI and the Embassy’s team will continue in order to further strenghten the commercial and economic relations between Bulgaria and South Africa.
