The newly appointed Bulgarian Ambassador to Nigeria, Yanko Yordanov, visited the Bulgarian Chamber of Commerce and Industry and spoke with its President Tsvetan Simeonov.
During the meeting Tsvetan Simeonov acquainted his guest with the activities of the BCCI in support of business, and its membership in various international organizations.
Ambassador Yordanov presented the priorities of his forthcoming term of office, especially in the economic sphere and informed that he was also accredited for the countries of Ghana, Benin, Equatorial Guinea, Congo, Democratic Republic of Congo, which opens additional opportunities for economic cooperation between Bulgarian companies and future partners from the respective African countries.
The two countries have the opportunity to cooperate in various fields. Renewable energy equipment and machinery for the food industry offer good opportunities for Bulgarian companies to establish cooperation with Nigeria. The African country is also interested in importing rice from Bulgaria.
