Plamen Pavlov, President of the Bulgarian – Macedonian Chamber of Commerce and Industry discussed with the President of BCCI Tsvetan Simeonov the bilateral trade and economic relations between Bulgaria and Macedonia.
Upcoming bilateral initiatives were discussed, including the Bulgarian – Macedonian Business Forum which will take place on 18 October in Skopje with the participation of Bulgarian Deputy Prime Minister Tomislav Donchev.
Tsvetan Simeonov said that the organization of such joint initiatives was an important step for the activation of the trade and economic relations between the Bulgaria and Macedonia.
Plamen Pavlov presented up-to-date information on the economic situation in Macedonia, concluding that all events that will help Macedonia join the EU should be supported by the business as this will allow the development of regional markets, reduction of customs duties, faster crossing of borders, participation in European projects, etc.
