The first competitions of the Innovations and Energy Efficiency Council at the Bulgarian Chamber of Commerce and Industry were bestowed awards
At an official ceremony at the Bulgarian Chamber of Commerce and Industry for the first time the Innovations and Energy Efficiency Council with the BCCI awarded the most successful innovative company and the best innovative project for 2013.
The winner among the innovative companies was MELEXIS BULGARIA LTD excelled for achievements in the manufacture of car microelectronics, and was bestowed a plaque and diploma by the Deputy Minister of Economy and Energy Anna Yaneva.
In the category “Best Innovative Project” the first place went to BIO COMPONENTS LTD. for their organic product developed on the basis of the mucus of snails for medical use. The Prize – a plaque and diploma, was handed by the President of the BCCI, Mr. Tsvetan Simeonov.
There was a huge interest to the pilot edition of the contest which indicates to the importance of the innovations towards the development of economy. The evaluation criteria recognized ingenuity of ideas, methods, cost efficiency of the realization and contribution to the environment protection.
