BCCI about the Urgent Tasks of the Future Government
The BCCI already underlined the most important questions, concerning the Bulgarian business with a view to further development of its opportunities in the complicated economic environment – keeping the tax levels, decreasing the allocative role of the state and detaining the state debt at a low level, e-government and more active fight against corruption, which means all the control bodies in the country to fulfil their functions more strictly. The most ugent and easy for implemetation act with a view to the strenuous circumstances should be the restoration of the tripartite dialogue.
The BCCI through its participation in the International Employer Organization and in the International Labour Organization, contributes to the defining of the priorities in the development of the global economy, including Bulgarian economy.
At first it is the necessity of guaranteeing peace, security and sustainable development in a horizon up to 2015. Of particular importance is the facilitation of the procedures, concerning the foreign investments and international trade. For more of the countries /developed and underdeveloped/ the main source of economic growth and for new jobs is the competition at the domestic market. The main efforts of each government should be focused on the support of the internal economic growth, keeping to the rules, established by the World Trade Organization. The good and favourable economic environment will not only attract investments, but will also reduce the outflow of national capital.
Among the basic prerequisites for business development of the countries are the good infrastructure, incl. the communication infrastructure, the recognition of education diplomas and cerificates, the consideration of skills and qualification as key assests and factors for the future sustainable growth and also the development of partnerships, including those between governments and PPP.
The strategic priorities of the IEO, adopted at the General Assembly of the organization in May 2912 are still valid. Among them are the following: support of the enterprises for successful operation within the frameworks of the global market, solving of the problem with youth unemployment, more efficient and guaranteed implementation of the policies of the International Employer Organization at a national level and better communication of these policies at an international level.
