At a meeting of the National Council for Tripartite Cooperation BCCI expressed principle support for the measure 60:40

At an online meeting of the National Council for Tripartite Cooperation, held on 5 October 2020, a draft amendment to Decree No. 151 of 2020 of the Council of Ministers, defining the terms and conditions for payment of funds for maintaining the employment of workers and employees after the period of the state of emergency, was discussed.

During the discussion, the Secretary General of BCCI Vasil Todorov expressed the Chamber’s principle support of a Draft Decree of the Council of Ministers amending and supplementing Decree No. 151 on the grounds that it is necessary to continue the measures to support the companies and associations affected by the COVID-19 pandemic.

Vasil Todorov also supported the proposed amendments in connection with the extension of the term of the measure until 31 December 2020 and the expansion of the group of companies that can benefit from it to maintain employment.

Once again, BCCI paid attention to the shortcomings of Decree No. 151/2020 and the need to provide an opportunity to appeal against the wrongful refusals of the commissions that examine the applications submitted by the companies. It was proposed to shorten the deadlines for reviewing the documents and paying the approved amounts, as well as to set a requirement for qualification and education of the members of the commissions that consider the applications.
