BCCI presented H.E. Luis Ferraz, Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of Portugal in Sofia with an Honorary Diploma

H.E. Luis Ferraz, Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of Portugal in Sofia received an Honorary Diploma from the President of the Bulgarian Chamber of Commerce and Industry Tsvetan Simeonov on the occasion of the end of his term of office in the country.

Tsvetan Simeonov noted the support which the Embassy has provided for the exchange of business and governmental delegations, the assistance and guidance for the establishment of the Bulgarian – Portuguese Chamber of Commerce in 2015, and the contribution for the introduction of Portuguese language in the training of university students in several Bulgarian cities. During the meeting, the largest Portuguese investment in Bulgaria – the purchase of two factories for the production of glassware – was also discussed.

Mr. Simeonov expressed the Chamber’s satisfaction with the long-term cooperation with H.E. Luis Ferraz and reminded that he won the Ambassador of the Year award – a bronze statuette Hermes and a Diploma, at the BCCI Annual Awards in December 2015.
