BCCI presented the economic potential of Bulgaria before 200 companies in Paris
The President of BCCI Tsvetan Simeonov took part in a meeting – presentation of Bulgaria as an attractive place for investment and business, held at the Bulgarian Embassy in Paris.
The event was organized by Ambassador Marin Raykov and the Commercial Office of the Bulgarian Embassy in the French capital. Tsvetan Simeonov presented the economic potential of our country and the opportunities for bilateral business.
Representatives of more than 200 French companies and NGOs got acquainted to the still unused opportunities for cooperation between businesses from the two countries. Ambassador Marin Raykov discussed the main parameters of the Bulgarian economic environment.
The President of BCCI clarified specific issued, such as the zero profit tax for investments in regions with high unemployment levels and stressed the unutilized opportunities for tourism. The initiative of UBIFRANCE to organize a meeting of French companies with potential partners from Southeastern Europe in Sofia was supported. The choice of the Bulgarian capital as a venue for the meeting is a compliment to Bulgaria. In the period 4 – 6 July 2012 the forum “France meets Southeastern Europe in Sofia” will take place. BCCI assists the economic mission of the Embassy of France to Bulgaria UBIFRANCE, which organizes the event. So far more that 150 companies have signed up for participation.
In Paris, the President of BCCI met with the management of Paris Chamber of Commerce which supported the idea and approved the measures for enhancing the cooperation. Expanding the scope of BCCI’s training activities was discussed with a local management school. Several French companies have announced their intention to return to the Bulgarian market.
The initiative of the Bulgarian Embassy and the Commercial Office to present Bulgaria was supported by the Chamber of Commerce and Industry of Reims, Champagne-Ardenne region. This activity is part of French chambers’ work in support of young entrepreneurs.
