Meeting with the Ambassador of Brazil Held at BCCI
The President of the Bulgarian Chamber of Commerce and Industry, Mr. Tsvetan Simeonov met with H.Exc. Mr. Washington Luis Pereira de Sousa, Ambassador of Brazil to Bulgaria and Mr. Durval Cardoso de Carvalho, Second Secretary in the Mission of Brazil to Brussels.
During the meeting, the general economic situation was discussed in the light of new perspectives in the relations between Bulgaria and Brazil. The Embassy of Brazil and BCCI agreed to cooperate for the dissemination of information regarding any inquiries and expressed interest by companies from the two countries, in order to improve and increase the volume of bilateral trade, which has dropped in the past years as a whole.
H.Exc. Mr. Pereira de Sousa said that on the Brazilian market the interest towards Bulgarian wines and the import of fertilizers is growing, and the sectors have a lot of potential for future development.
