BCCI participated in the February Plenary Session of the European Economic and Social Committee in Brussels



The Vice-President of BCCI Georgi Stoev took part in the meeting of the European Economic and Social Committee (EESC) and the February Plenary Session of EESC in Brussels. During the meeting the best practices of the cooperation between EESC and the new European Commission were discussed, as well as positions to be debated during the plenary session and important reports including the Annual Growth Survey 2015 and the 2015 Work Programme. 
 
European Commission President Jean-Claude Juncker presented his propositions of the EC’s policy. A debate on Europe 2020 Strategy followed in relation to the discussed positions. The Vice-President of BCCI took part in the debate and the discussion of progress achieved in the execution of the Europe 2020 strategy and the Annual Growth Survey 2015 of the Commission to the European Parliament, the Council, the European Central Bank, EESC, the Committee of the Regions and the European Investment Bank. 
 
In Brussels Georgi Stoev participated also in the EESC Employers Group session, together with heads of the Ukrainian organizations of employers and the American Chamber of Commerce in Ukraine. Georgi Stoev informed the participants in the meeting about the 120th anniversary of the BCCI. The President of the Chamber of Commerce of Ukraine Gennadiy Chyzhykov expressed desire to visit Bulgaria by the end of 2015.
