Meeting with the Charge d’Affaires to the Embassy of Georgia in Sofia



Hon. Ms. Irina Yashagashvili, who is currently acting as Charge d’Affaires to the Embassy of Georgia in Sofia, visited the Bulgarian Chamber of Commerce and Industry and met with the President of the Chamber, Mr. Tsvetan Simeonov.
 
Key topic of the talk was the upcoming signing of the Free Trade Agreement between Georgia and the European Union, and the effect of the economic relations between Bulgaria and Georgia. In this regard, Irina Yashagashvili informed about the upcoming conference and business forum, entitled “Economic integration with the European Union – perspectives and opportunities”, which will be held in Tbilisi, Georgia at the end of March this year. She invited representatives of the Bulgarian business to participate in the event. The forum will be organized by the Georgian Ministry of European and Euro-Atlantic Integration, together with the co-partnership of the Ministry of Economy and Sustainable Development of Georgia.
