Meeting members of the American Chamber of Commerce in Bulgaria





Members of the American Chamber of Commerce in Bulgaria, David Hampson – Vice Chair of the Public procurement and EU financing Consultative Committee and Managing partner at Technology Transfer, and Zlatina Ruseva–Savova – Vice Chair of the Public procurement and EU financing Consultative Committee and Managing partner at Ruseva-Savova Law Office, met the President of the Bulgarian Chamber of Commerce and Industry, Tsvetan Simeonov.
 
Opportunities for ensuring greater transparency in organizing public procurement and the need of improving the legislation were discussed during the meeting.
 
Benefits of launching the electronic public procurement in Bulgaria, as well as organizing trainings and creating an online platform which would facilitate the proceedings of particular public procurement for the parties concerned were highlighted at the meeting as well.
 
BCCI’s President Tsvetan Simeonov discussed with David Hampson and Zlatina Ruseva-Savova also the need of creating an Internet-based platform, which would be able to send information about the opportunities for participants in the public procurement in the USA, and give access to advices in order to improve the chances of the Bulgarian companies to compete for that sort of procurement.
