783.64 BGN raised by BCCI at the Christmas Charity Bazaar

The Bulgarian Chamber of Commerce and Industry participated with its own stand at the annual Charity Bazaar organized by the International Women’s Club Sofia, which took place on Sunday in Inter Expo Center and Congress Center - Sofia.

The President of BCCI Tsvetan Simeonov participated in the opening of the Bazaar together with the Patron of the initiative Mrs. Miglena Kuneva and the Mayor of Sofia Yordanka Fandakova.

To its stand BCCI had invited its member-companies, which expressed interest in the noble initiative. Among them were the Federation of Bakers and Confectioners in Bulgaria, the honey producers “Pchelari Ilievi – Pleven” and Union “Support for Debut”. 783.64 BGN was raised for charity at BCCI’s stand – the money was collected through sale of various foods. The main articles were sold shortly after the opening of the exhibition.

During the event beverages and foods from all over the world, which are typical and traditional for the participating countries, were presented. Even diplomats from the respective countries could be seen behind the stands. The bazaar offered various entertainments for children and their parents.

The funds raised during the event will be used for Charity projects of the International Women’s Club.
