BCCI signed a Memorandum of Understanding with CCCME



The Bulgarian Chamber of Commerce and Industry (BCCI) signed a Memorandum of Understanding with the China Chamber of Commerce for Import and Export of Machinery and Electronic Products (CCCME).

The purpose of the agreement is to intensify cooperation between partners from China and Bulgaria in the field of mechanical engineering and electronics in these difficult and turbulent times for the world economy.

BCCI has been maintaining partnerships with Chinese organizations since 1985, when the first cooperation agreement with the Chinese Chamber of Commerce (China Council for the Promotion of International Trade) was signed.

According to data of the Bulgarian Ministry of Economy, in the first half of 2020 the bilateral trade between Bulgaria and China reached USD 1295.6 million (an increase of 4.3% compared to the same period of 2019), of which Bulgarian exports amounted to USD 474.0 million. (+14.3) and imports from China to USD 821.6 million. (-0.8%).
