BCCI congratulated the Bulgarian Business Leaders Forum on its 20th anniversary

On 6 November, the Bulgarian Business Leaders Forum marked its 20^th anniversary with a special event for member-companies, partners and supporters from the private and public sector, NGOs and the diplomatic corps as well as two Bulgarian Presidents.

The event under the motto “20 Years Together” was attended by CEOs of member-companies, partners and individuals closely associated with the history of BBLF including Bulgarian President Petar Stoyanov (1997 – 2002) who attended the launch of the Forum 20 years ago, and Bulgarian President Rosen Plevneliev (2012 – 2017), a long-time supporter of BBLF. The President of the Bulgarian Chamber of Commerce and Industry (BCCI) Tsvetan Simeonov congratulated the BBLF on its contribution to encouraging business ethics, good CSR practices and sustainability and presented the BBLF Chairman Iravan Hira with the Honorary Diploma of BCCI.

„BBLF started off back in 1998 led by the concept that this country’s successful development needed high business standards and transparent business practices, i.e. playing by the rules to help move forward the economy but also the society towards progress and welfare”, BBLF Chairman Iravan Hira said.
