BCCI – co-organizer of the seminar “Cyber Resilience – the Israeli Experience”

The President of BCCI Tsvetan Simeonov took part in the official opening of the seminar “Cyber Resilience – the Israeli Experience”, which took place in Sofia Tech Park. The event was organized by the Embassy of the State of Israel in Sofia, in co-operation with BCCI and the Bulgarian - Israeli Chamber of Commerce and Industry. 

The seminar was officially opened by the H.E. Mrs. Irit Lillian, Ambassador of Israel in Sofia, and Rosen Plevneliev, President of the Republic of Bulgaria (2012 – 2017). They focused on the bilateral relations and the Israeli experience in the field of innovation, saying that the country is a leader in the field of cybersecurity.

The Lectors from Israel – Lior Tabansky, Researcher and Head of Research Development at Tel Aviv University, and Daniel Cohen, Senior Researcher at Tel Aviv University, as well as leading Israeli companies in the sector (IAI, Rafael, Elbit, Mer and Verint) shared their experience with the numerous audience.

More than 170 representatives of the Bulgarian business took part in the event.

The seminar also emphasized the Homeland Security & Cyber 2018 exhibition and accompanying scientific conference , which will be held from 12 to 15 November 2018 in Tel Aviv, and for which BCCI organized a delegation of more than 20 representatives of the business circles and the institutions. Over 170 exhibitors from more than 80 countries, over 5000 visitors, 60 world-class lecturers, and many potential partners are expected to attend the exhibition.
