World Chambers Network creates opportunities for Bulgarian companies by facilitating business and encouraging contacts
The meeting of the Board of the World Chambers Network with the transnational chambers of commerce within the 7th World Chambers Congress in Mexico, in which BCCI’s President Mr. Tsvetan Simeonov participates, was very beneficial. The newest initiatives of the World Chambers Network were discussed: Global Business eXchange, Chamber Trust, Chamber eVault, WCN online market. “These initiatives provide vast opportunities for internationalization of Bulgarian companies, members of the BCCI”, Mr. Simeonov said.
Possibilities to expand cooperation were successfully discussed with the Secretary General of the World Chambers Network and the President of the Network, Mr. Anthony Parkes.
The International Chamber of Commerce (ICC) has orientated its entire activity towards providing even more electronic services – a direction, which BCCI has chosen as well.
There is a tendency for the role of chambers of commerce to grow, due to their unique network around the world and their ability to provide reliable information about companies in the respective countries and regions.
BCCI’s President Mr. Tsvetan Simeonov and the Secretary General of the Junior Chamber International Mr. Edson Kodama discussed and outlined measures which will help activate JCI’s branch in Bulgaria. Encouraging youth entrepreneurship is BCCI’s special priority.
According to Mr. Simeonov, coordination between the transnational chambers as well as coordination with the World Chambers Network is important because it allows chambers to share experience in a multinational environment and to coordinate their joint efforts in facilitating business and encouraging contacts.
Later the congress delegates will meet with the President of Mexico, Mr. Felipe Calderon.
