Business forum with the participation of a Chinese delegation at BCCI

BCCI hosted a Bulgarian – Chinese Business Forum organized in cooperation with the Chinese Council for the Promotion of International Trade (CCPIT) – Beijing.

The event was officially opened by Vasil Todorov, Secretary General of BCCI, who welcomed the participants and provided a brief overview of the Chamber’s relations with Chinese partners. He stressed the need to materialize the signed cooperation agreements into joint initiatives – exchange of delegations, organization of business forums, and bilateral meetings by interests.

Vasil Todorov also presented information about the events in which BCCI actively participates together with the chambers of commerce and industry of the Central and Eastern European countries and China under the “One belt – One road” initiative.

Lin Bin, Vice President of CCPIT – Beijing also greeted the forum participants and shared information on the results of the international forum held in Montenegro with the participation of the mayors and representatives of the chambers of commerce of the capital cities of China and 16 Central and Eastern European countries. BCCI also took part in the event as it is engaged in the service of the business in the regions of Sofia-city and Sofia region.

After the official part, the Bulgarian companies had the opportunity to hold bilateral meetings with their Chinese colleagues from the sectors: financial services, cultural and technological industry, operation of industrial parks, investment in urban infrastructure, traditional Chinese arts and crafts, legal services.
