BCCI’s Secretary General participates in Dubrovnik Forum “Strengthening Europe: Connecting North and South”

The Secretary General of BCCI Vasil Todorov is taking part in the Forum “Strengthening Europe: Connecting North and South” which is being held in Dubrovnik, Croatia in the period 25 – 26 August. The event is organized under the auspices of the President of the Republic of Croatia H.E. Kolinda Grabar-Kitarovic and brings together the heads of state, prime ministers and representatives of the chambers of commerce of the countries of the Adriatic-Baltic-Black Sea region.

The event is continuation of the efforts to strengthen the cooperation in the region following the meeting of the business circles in June at BCCI – at the initiative of the Bulgarian Head of State Rosen Plevneliev, who chaired SEECP in the period July 2015 – June 2016. The emphasis of the forum is placed on strengthening the cooperation between Austria, Bulgaria, Estonia, Latvia, Lithuania, Poland, Romania, Slovakia, Slovenia, Croatia, the Czech Republic, and Hungary in the transport, energy, digital communications and projects sectors.

The President of the Republic of Bulgaria Rosen Plevneliev also participates in the forum in a roundtable discussion on “The Three Seas Initiative”.

During the forum in Dubrovnik, the Croatian Chamber of Commerce is organizing a separate panel for the representatives of the chambers of commerce and industry to present their new activities and services in support of business and outline new opportunities for possible cooperation in the region.
