Exchange of good practices with the Egyptian Information Technology Industry Development Agency ITIDA
Representatives of the Egyptian Information Technology Industry Development Agency (ITIDA) visited BCCI and met with the Chamber’s Secretary General Vasil Todorov. Sherine El Sherif, Business Effectiveness and Development Manager, Noha Tarek Shaaban, International Business Development Manager of ITIDA and Haddad El Gohary, Counsellor at the Embassy of Egypt in Sofia took part in the meeting.
The aim was to exchange information and good practices in relation to outsourcing IT and telecommunication services in Bulgaria. Our country currently occupies 9th place worldwide by provision of ITC services while Egypt ranks 10th.
The activity of BCCI in support of businesses was discussed as well as the initiatives of the Egyptian Information Technology Industry Development Agency as a structure of the Ministry of Communications and Information Technology promoting investments in the ITC sector in the North African country. BCCI provided details about the favorable business conditions in Bulgaria and the advantages and benefits for investors.
