Meeting with representatives of the management of the Association of Business Clusters

Signing a Memorandum of Understanding with all nationally recognized employers’ organizations as well as with the Bulgarian Academy of Science, innovative and scientific organizations, was proposed by the Association of Business Clusters (ABC). On this occasion, a meeting initiated by the Association was held at BCCI between the ABC President Ventsislav Slavkov, the ABC Monitoring Board Member Iliyan Nachevski and the BCCI President Tsvetan Simeonov. 
 
The proposed Memorandum of Understanding envisages cooperation in various sectors and carrying out joint activities, including activities aiming to improve competitiveness in Bulgaria and the business environment for innovations. The ABC informed that such an agreement has already been signed with the Bulgarian Industrial Association. 
 
Tsvetan Simeonov assured the guests that the Chamber is always open to any forms of cooperation which contribute to achieving the goals of the two organizations. The proposed draft memorandum will be carefully examined and possibly expanded. 
The participants in the meeting discussed the condition and role of clusters for the Bulgarian economy, after Ventsislav Slavkov presented a survey on this topic which will be published soon.
