Upcoming conference in Belgrade "The Danube Energy Initiative – a new approach to regional cooperation"
Subject to discussion held at the BCCI was the signed Memorandum of establishing the Danube Energy Initiative (DEI) between the Chambers of Commerce of Bulgaria, Serbia and Hungary. The meeting was attended by Sergey Beck, Head of "Public Relations" with the Institute for International Integration Studies, Harry Miskin, geopolitical consultant at "Bell Pottinger", Stephana Yaneva from the PR Agency "Yanev and Yanev" and BCCI's President Tsvetan Simeonov. DEI's strategy for 2015 was presented along with a study of the energy market in the region by Prof. Alan Riley, Professor at City University, London.
The initiative will start with a conference entitled "The Danube Energy Initiative - a new approach to regional cooperation in the field of energy" on December 9, 2014 in Belgrade, Serbia.
Representatives of companies, government institutions, chambers of commerce, experts of European level and journalists will discuss the regional energy market - its legal framework, projects and business opportunities.
