Regular meeting of the Club of Joint and Foreign Chambers in Bulgaria
BCCI hosted a regular meeting of the Club of Joint and Foreign Chambers in Bulgaria. It was attended by representatives of 10 joint organisations. At the opening of the forum the President of the Bulgarian Chamber of Commerce and Industry – Tsvetan Simeonov, welcomed and introduced the two newcomers to the Club – the Chamber of Industry and Commerce of Spain in Bulgaria and the Bulgarian-Turkmen Commerce and Industry Chamber.
In relation to the General Assembly of the Bulgarian Chamber of Commerce and Industry held on 17th June 2014, the participants in the meeting focused their talks on the Guidelines for the activity of the BCCI for the period 2014 – 2019. The representatives of the joint chambers were introduced to the priorities of the Chamber and were requested to share their ideas and proposals for the improvement of the business climate in Bulgaria.
During the discussion, after presenting the two new to the Club chambers, suggestions for mutual cooperation were made and discussed. The Bulgarian-Hungarian Chamber of Commerce announced their plans to work together with the respective joint chamber in Hungary regarding the participation of Hungarian companies in Plovdiv Technical Fair, in particular the exhibition “InterFood & Drink”.
To host the next meeting of the Club of Joint Chambers was appointed the Bulgarian-Romanian Chamber of Commerce and Industry. The meeting is going to take place in the second half of October in Sofia.
