Innovations and Energy Efficiency Council with the BCCI held an Information Day for SMEs Project Application
The Bulgarian Chamber of Commerce and Industry hosted the Information Day for SMEs Project Application under the Programme Horizon 2020, the European Institute of Innovation and Technology – Budapest, INNOVFIN and the ECSEL Joint Undertaking (JU) established on June 5, 2014 in Brussels.
The event was organized by the Innovations and Energy Efficiency Council with the BCCI. During the official opening of the forum the Council Co-Chair Yosif Avramov mentioned the assigned preparation of Innovation Exchange Platform. Invitations were sent for the second edition of the competitions for “The most successful innovative company” and “Best innovative project” for 2014.
The new financial instruments for the support of the scientific-research and development activities of the SMEs by the EU funds (InnovFin) were presented as well. Participants were introduced to the funding opportunities that KIC Innoenergy with the European Institute of Innovation and Technology provide for 2014. The forum laid emphasis on the funding opportunities for the scientific and innovative projects of the SMEs provided by the ECSEL Joint Undertaking, which was established to finance IT projects. Some data about the Joint Undertaking were presented and the possibilities to consult Bulgarian SMEs by German experts were outlined. The Transatlantic Partnership Agreement for trade and investment was presented which aims at eliminating customs and non-tariff barriers in trade between the EU countries and the USA.
