President Rosen Plevneliev: The trade agreement between the EU and the US will promote the economic growth
The Transatlantic Trade and Investment Partnership (TTPI) agreement between the European Union and the United States will promote the economic growth and the investments in Bulgaria. This is what the Head of State Rosen Plevneliev said, opening the forum dedicated to the transatlantic economic cooperation, which was held in Sheraton Sofia Hotel Balkan.
Among the participants of the forum, organized by the American Chamber of Commerce in Bulgaria (AmCham), were diplomats, former and recent deputies, members of the government, business representatives, non-government organisations, the scientific community. The Bulgarian Chamber of Commerce and Industry was represented by its Secretary-General Vassil Todorov.
President Plevneliev described the talks between the European Union and the United States as a decisive step into the strategic transatlantic partnership. He stated that a basic principle Bulgaria will adhere to in the negotiations is coming to alleviations for the small and medium-sized enterprises in the country.
