IT Managers Play a Key Role for the Efficiency and Potential of Companies

 
The President of the Bulgarian Chamber of Commerce and Industry, Tsvetan Simeonov greeted the participants in the “IT Manager of the Year” competition and bestowed Honorary Diplomas to the nominees in the category “Efficiency”. The prize was won by Mr. Milen Mihaylov, IT Director in Sopharma Trading AD., Mr. Georgy Komsiyski, IT Manager, Porsche BG and Dimitar Gramatikov, Director “IT and Services” in Coca Cola Hellenic Bottling Company AD. 

The competition for most successful IT manager of the year was held for the 4th consecutive time on 7th December 2011 in Hotel Sheraton, Sofia. Among the 16 nominees for 2011 in three categories – management, efficiency and innovation, were representatives of companies from vertical economic segments such as finance, services, utility, forwarding, trade, etc. with successful innovative projects in the last 12 months, which contributed to the achievement of the goals of their organization. The initiative promotes raising the position and authority of IT managers in the management of companies and institutions in Bulgaria and stimulates effective use of information technologies in the activity of companies from various sectors of industry.
