There is potential to establish a Bulgarian – South African Chamber

In the Republic of South Africa there are over 100 companies owned by Bulgarian citizens, Mr. Paul Chelibashki, representative of the company “Аreana Importers” announced at a meeting at BCCI. The company imports and distributes Bulgarian car, home and office air-fresheners to the region of South Africa. For its 10-year presence in the South African market, the company has reached 30% market share.

The good positions of Bulgarian businessmen in South Africa are prerequisite for the establishment of Bulgarian – South African Chamber, seated in the Republic of South Africa.

BCCI’s President expressed his full support for the establishment of a joint chamber, which will provide assistance to companies for exploring market opportunities, exchange of economic information, and finding partners, in order to stimulate bilateral trade, which according to data of the Ministry of Economy Energy and Tourism decreased in 2010. During the meeting, the organization of Bulgarian business delegation to the Republic of South Africa in 2012 was discussed.
