BCCI Participates in First Meeting of Women Entrepreneurs Council on the Balkans

The President of the Bulgarian Chamber of Commerce and Industry Mr. Tsvetan Simeonov, in his capacity of President of the Association of Balkan Chambers /ABC/ will participate in the first meeting of Women Entrepreneurs Council /WEC/ with ABC on 30 September 2011 in Istanbul. The meeting is organized by the Union of Chambers and Commodity Exchanges of Turkey (TOBB), one of the initiators for the establishment of the Council.

WEC was established last year and aims at uniting women entrepreneurs from the Balkan countries. The meeting will be attended by representatives of Bulgarian women entrepreneurs who also participate in BCCI’s management: Radka Stamenova – Meridian 22, President of the Bulgarian Association of Women Entrepreneurs, eng. Vesela Miryanova – Arteks Engineering and Silvia Nikolova – GNL Plus Agency.

During the meeting topical problems and issues concerning women entrepreneurs will be discussed – the need of education, sources of financing, reducing discrimination, etc
