Meeting of the Council of Sectorial Organizations at BCCI with the Mayoral Candidate Stefan Sofiansky

 
On the initiative of Stefan Sofiansky, ODS’s candidate for mayor of Sofia, at the Bulgarian Chamber of Commerce and Industry a meeting was held with the President of the Council of Sectorial Organizations at BCCI Ms. Mariana Kukusheva and Mr. Lachezar Iskrov – member of the Executive Council of BCCI, with the participation of BCCI’s President Mr. Tsvetan Simeonov.
“We wanted to hear the opinion of the business on the development of the capital’s economy, which during my term of office as mayor played a leading role in overcoming the previous crisis. It is with regret that we find out that construction rate has dropped and unemployment has increased, which is the situation in the entire country”, Mr. Sofiansky said. 
“The questions of the economic development of each region should be raised competently and the opinion of the sectorial organizations should be taken into account”, Mr. Lachezar Iskrov, President of the National Real Estate Association said. 
“We would like opportunities for support of SMEs with money collected by the Municipality to be activated, as well as to provide municipal land for construction of small bakeries”, Ms. Mariana Kukusheva, President of the Federation of Bakers and Confectioners in Bulgaria said. 
The new Mayor should address the issue of waste collection and disposal, as well as to solve the debt problems of the heat distribution and public transport companies. For this purpose, the quick procedures of the Arbitration court at BCCI may be used, the President of BCCI Mr. Tsvetan Simeonov summarized.
Mr. Sofiansky got acquainted to the information opportunities and services provided by BCCI to Bulgarian and foreign companies.
