The new Ambassador of Ukraine with a first visit to BCCI

The President of BCCI Tsvetan Simeonov had a first meeting with H.E. Vitalii Moskalenko, Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of Ukraine to the Republic of Bulgaria, who recently presented his credentials.

Simeonov introduced his guest and the accompanying him Counsellor for Economic Affairs at the Embassy Mr. Rustam Azhdar with important moments of BCCI’s cooperation with partners from Ukraine aimed at promoting the bilateral economic relations, commercial arbitration, etc.

The state of trade between the two countries was also discussed. In 2017 bilateral trade grew by 11.3% compared to the same period in 2016.

The President of BCCI and the Ukrainian diplomat shared the opinion that there are all necessary prerequisites to preserve and further improve the good trade and economic relations between the two countries.

Ambassador Moskalenko informed about an upcoming joint economic event, which will take place on 27 November 2018 in Burgas - a Ukrainian - Bulgarian Business Forum. Organizers of the event are the Embassy of Ukraine in close cooperation with the Odessa Regional Administration and the Bulgarian - Ukrainian Industrial Chamber.

The Forum plans to present the economic, investment and tourism potential of the Odessa Region as well as to share examples of successful Ukrainian - Bulgarian cooperation.
