Traditional meeting of the Club of Joint and Foreign Chambers in Bulgaria

At BCCI, the traditional meeting of the Club of Joint and Foreign Chambers in Bulgaria was held. The meeting was hosted by the Bulgarian – Macedonian Chamber of Commerce and Industry. The event was officially opened by the President of BCCI Tsvetan Simeonov who greeted the participants and introduced them to the current economic situation in the country. He emphasized the current legislative changes which BCCI as an employers’ organization is working on – the tax legislation, the healthcare reform, vocational education and training, etc.

Tsvetan Simeonov gave a brief overview of the activities of the joint chambers during the year, focusing on the events organized in cooperation with the Bulgarian – Russian Chamber of Commerce and Industry.

The Norwegian-Bulgarian Business Group officially joined the Club of Joint and Foreign Chambers in Bulgaria.

Plamen Pavlov, President of the Bulgarian – Macedonian Chamber of Commerce and Industry, as the host of the meeting, presented the latest information on developments in Macedonia, and the mission, objectives and programme of the joint chamber. Pavlov also informed about an upcoming Bulgarian – Macedonian Business Forum, which will take place on 18 October in Skopje.
