The President of the Bulgarian Chamber of Commerce and Industry is in Mexico on the occasion of the 7th World Chambers Congress. The Congress is held every two years on a different continent. This year’s event is hosted by the Mexico City National Chamber of Commerce (CANACO).
In the period 7-10 June 2011, Mr. Tsvetan Simeonov will participate in meetings and sessions in accordance with the congress programme. On 7 June 2011, the President of BCCI in his capacity of Rotation President of the Association of Balkan Chambers (ABC) for 2011 will meet with his counterparts from other transnational chambers of commerce and industry – organizations uniting chambers of commerce from a specific region, which have common goals and are multinationally represented.
According to Mr. Simeonov, coordination between the transnational chambers, both among themselves and with the World Chambers Federation, is important because it allows them to share experience in a multinational environment and to coordinate their joint efforts in facilitating business and encouraging contacts.
During his visit the President of BCCI will meet with the Bulgarian Ambassador to Mexico, the President of GS1 Mexico and will be a speaker in one of the Speed networking sessions – Europe.
