People need to be sure in the product of construction entrepreneurs









 The first 22 certificates for construction entrepreneurs were handed at BCCI
After a Memorandum for Encouragement of Construction Entrepreneurship was signed by the Bulgarian Chamber of Commerce and Industry and the Bulgarian Entrepreneurial Chamber in Building on 20 April 2011, aiming to promote the role and enhance the prestige of the “construction entrepreneur” profession, today the fully-working Voluntary Register of Construction Entrepreneurs was presented at the BCCI. The Register is part of the data base published on BCCI’s website http://www.bcci.bg/services/bpk_list and access to it is free. 
The presidents of the two chambers, Mr. Tsvetan Simeonov and Mr. Nikolin Gavrailov, presented certificates to the first 22 companies members of the Bulgarian Entrepreneurial Chamber in Building and the Bulgarian Chamber of Commerce and Industry, entered in the register, which meet the criteria for “construction entrepreneur” specified by the Management Board of the Bulgarian Entrepreneurial Chamber in Building.
“We will achieve better results if strict and clear criteria are specified, according to which construction entrepreneurs will be entered in the Register. Together we will supervise and monitor whether these criteria are met, so that the ones who receive the certificate are never misled in their expectations", Mr. Tsvetan Simeonov said. “You are the first sectorial organization, which, together with the BCCI, sets us this type of voluntary register meeting specific professional requirements. At the moment, when there are difficulties in the construction sector and the construction market has shrunk significantly, the Register will help distinguish good construction entrepreneurs from the many who claim to be such.
Recent data indicates that there is a timid awakening in the sector and we, together with Mr. Gavrailov and the members of the Bulgarian Entrepreneurial Chamber in Building, give another additional guarantee and choice option to those looking for contractors and subcontractors for their projects. We want to see this list growing bigger, so that we meet the increasing demand for quality."
