Representatives of BCCI visited Sudan

BCCI representatives participated in a business delegation to Sudan. The visit was at the invitation of the Embassy of Sudan in Sofia and the Governor of the Red Sea province, Sudan.

During the visit  (19^th to 28^th February) direct contacts with a number of government officials and businessmen have been established, amongst which with the Governor and the Minister of Tourism of the Red Sea province, the Minister of Investment of South Kordofan province, the management of the Chamber of Commerce of Sudan, employers and professional organizations.

After the successful visit, the BCCI believes that there is potential in the development of the relations Bulgaria - Sudan. It was found that the good image and popularity of Bulgaria,  that were created under the training of students from Sudan in Bulgaria, should be used. Agriculture, mineral resources, construction, sugar and cotton have been identified as priority sectors of mutual interest.
