The Chamber’s President Tsvetan Simeonov met with the Trade and Economic Counsellor to Shanghai

Kostadin Dzhatev, newly-appointed Counsellor at the Trade and Economic Section of the Bulgarian Embassy in Shanghai, visited BCCI and met with the Chamber’s President Tsvetan Simeonov.

The results of a survey conducted among the members of BCCI on the preferred destinations for expansion of the foreign economic activity of companies in 2017 were presented. The President of BCCI stressed that China is the most preferred Asian country for business visits (according to 25% of the surveyed companies).

During the meeting, the bilateral relations between BCCI and similar organizations in China were discussed. The system of the Chamber was presented and the services it provides in service to business – assistance to foreign companies for participation in fairs and exhibitions, support in finding potential partners, preparing sectoral analyses, the work of the Arbitration Court at BCCI, etc.

Kostadin Dzhatev informed about adopted amendments to the Chinese legislation, facilitating the import of Bulgarian dairy products.
