Business representatives from the Kingdom of Cambodia are seeking contacts with Bulgarian partners

On 12 March, a meeting was held with business representatives from the Kingdom of Cambodia. The Secretary General of the Bulgarian Chamber of Commerce and Industry Vasil Todorov acquainted the members of the delegation with the Chamber’s activities. He outlined the main directions in the work of BCCI as a business organization and a social partner.

The Cambodian companies that took part in the meeting operate in the following sectors: agriculture, food and processing industry, machine-building, construction. They made a brief presentation of the economy of Cambodia and the most advanced sectors.

The guests showed interest in importing Bulgarian agricultural equipment and equipment for the processing and food industry, as well as construction materials. They said that the country has an exceptionally young population – 52% of the population are under 25 years old, and can send qualified workers and employees in different sectors.

Vasil Todorov confirmed BCCI’s readiness to provide assistance for establishing contacts with potential business partners.
