In BCCI a meeting was held between the Vice-President of the Chamber Georgi Stoev and representative of the state-run agency Korean Asset Management Corporation (KAMCO). A representative of the Korea Trade-Investment Promotion Agency (KOTRA) and the Counsellor of the Embassy of Korea in Sofia also took part in the meeting.
The mission of the representatives of KAMCO in Bulgaria is to study the privatization process in Bulgaria during the transition period to market economy.
The Chamber and its members will have the opportunity to share their experience in the process and preparation of the mass privatization in Bulgaria. BCCI will assist KAMCO in carrying out their research and initiatives on the methodologies for evaluation of SMEs.
During the meeting the activity of the Bulgarian – Korean Economic Council with BCCI was discussed as well as the work for control of the FTA between the EU and the Republic of Korea.
