BCCI signed MoU with the Belarusian Chamber of Commerce and Industry
A Memorandum of Understanding was signed on the opening day of the 71st International Technical Fair in Plovdiv between the Bulgarian Chamber of Commerce and Industry (BCCI) and the Belarusian Chamber of Commerce and Industry. The document was signed by the President of BCCI Tsvetan Simeonov and the First Deputy Chairman of the Belarusian Chamber Alexander Nakhayenko in the presence of the Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of Belarus in Bulgaria H.E. Vladimir Voronkovich. In the document, the two organizations undertake to expand their cooperation in the field of import and export, investment, exchange of business information and other activities concerning trade and economic relations.
After the signing of the MoU, the President of BCCI Tsvetan Simeonov visited the stands of the Belarusian exhibitors presented at the fair.
Tsvetan Simeonov commented that the way in which science in Belarus relates to manufacture is interesting – how specialized bodies assist the research institutes after the invention and patenting of a certain product to its implementation, and it would be useful to share experience in this regard. According to the President of BCCI the Belarusian lift manufacturers may be interesting to Bulgarian companies as they provide a good balance between quality and price. BCCI will help them send the entire information to the Construction Chamber, so that interested Bulgarian companies can benefit from it.
The Belarusian devices for gas distribution for industrial and household consumers also may be of interest to Bulgaria. BCCI will help Belarusian manufacturers get in contact with the Association of Municipalities in Bulgaria which develop and implement EU projects for gasification of Bulgarian towns. A lot of businesses related to air purification from various gaseous pollutants by means of waste-free technology using bacteria may also be of interest in view of EU’s constant strive for a cleaner environment, Tsvetan Simeonov added.
