The BCCI participates in the 9th World Congress of the Chambers of Commerce



More than 1600 representatives of the business and of the chambers of commerce and industry from 120 countries in the world take part in the 9th World Congress of the Chambers of Commerce, carried out in the period 10th - 12th of June, 2015. Organizer of the event is the Chamber of Commerce and Industry of Torino.
 
The President of the BCCI Mr. Tsvetan Simeonov participated in the official opening of the World Congress.
 
This year the event goes under the motto “Community, Identity and Vision” with a focus on Europe and the economic challenges the region faces.
 
Within the framework of the Congress are envisaged 3 plenary sessions, 20 seminars, 2500 square meters exhibition area and more than 100 lecturers, representatives of the business and of the chambers of commerce in the world. The thematic areas of the sessions include topics such as the global trade, electronic CCIs, financial sources for SMEs, the role of the institutions, etc. For the business representatives there is a special programme – organization of bilateral business cooperation meetings or visits to industrial enterprises.
 
Indisputable priority of the BCCI is the digitalisation of the traditional services, provided by the chambers of commerce.  On the basis of the the achieved successes in various fields – the Arbitration Court, mobile applications, the Trade Register, etc., the BCCI will continue to focus its activities along this line. Concerning GS1, the Chamber is the link of the country with the world standards in the field of trade and data exchange,
