Prospects for cooperation between the Bulgarian Chamber of Commerce and Industry, the Bulgarian-Japanese Economic Council with BCCI and the Commercial and Economic Affairs Office of the Embassy of Bulgaria in Tokyo





Japanese companies show interest in cooperation in the fields of wine-growing, tourism, mining, social services, energy sector, automotive production.
 
The Vice-President of the Bulgarian Chamber of Commerce and Industry and Deputy Chairman of the Bulgarian-Japanese Economic Council with BCCI Georgi Stoev discussed the prospects for cooperation between the Chamber, the Bulgarian-Japanese Economic Council with BCCI and the Commercial and Economic Affairs Office of the Embassy of Bulgaria in Tokyo during a meeting with Georgi Kostov, a newly-appointed representative of the Commercial and Economic Affairs Office. 
 
The Bulgarian-Japanese Economic Council informed that at present Japanese companies are very interested in cooperation in the fields of wine-growing, tourism, mining, social services, energy sector, automotive production etc. 
 
Georgi Stoev elaborated on the assistance rendered by the Bulgarian-Japanese Economic Council in the drafting of the free trade agreement between the EU and Japan, which is expected to be finalized in 2015.
