Meeting between Presidents of the Bulgarian Chamber of Commerce and Industry (BCCI) and the Bilateral Chamber of Commerce Bulgaria-Romania (BCCBR)
President of the Bilateral Chamber of Commerce Bulgaria-Romania, Mr. Doru Dragomir, and President of the Bulgarian Chamber of Commerce and Industry, Mr. Tsvetan Simeonov, discussed at a regular meeting at the Chamber their joint cooperation and the economic situation in Bulgaria and Romania. It was noted that fresh impetus is needed to activate the cooperation between the two countries on both sides of the Danube River, where some of the weakest economic regions of Europe are located.
Tsvetan Simeonov and Doru Dragomir agreed to work together in using all the possibilities to develop the bilateral economic relations. In the opinion of Mr. Doru Dragomir, the interest of the regional chambers of commerce along the lower course of the Danube River is growing as regards the closer cooperation with counterparts from both the countries in order to implement the EU Danube Strategy.
