The Ambassador of the Slovak Republic visited the Bulgarian Chamber of Commerce and Industry
The newly elected Ambassador of the Slovak Republic, His Excellency Marian Yakubotsi, visited BCCI where he met with its President, Tsvetan Simeonov.
The honored guest was acquainted to the wide range of services and initiatives that the Chamber conducts in supporting the business. An emphasis was put on spheres of activities like the voluntary trade register, the achievements of the Arbitration court, and the participations of the companies in international fairs and exhibitions.
During the meeting basic guidelines were discussed, as well as the state and the prospects of the Bulgarian-Slovak economic relations. Increasing the investments in Bulgaria and the Slovak Republic is of great importance. Slovakia’s experience in developing the industrial sector is of essential subservience for our country. We also expect cooperation regarding the wider use of Bulgaria’s opportunities for being a desired tourist destination.
The need of activation of the contacts for preparing and organizing business delegations was also discussed during the meeting.
The participation in the Danube’s strategy of the European Union was esteemed as a prospective field for collaboration between the two countries.
