Opening of the Information Exchange Centre under the “CONNECTION” project
The Information Exchange Centre under the “CONNECTION” project, with BCCI’s partnership, was officially opened in the city of Vladichin khan, Serbia. The mayor of Vladichin khan’s municipality, Goran Mladenovich, welcomed the guests and officially cut the ribbon of the Information Exchange Centre “CONNECTION”. The building is fully furnished under the European standards and disposes of IT equipment – a hall for disabled people for instance. The event was accompanied by a business forum, a press release and a conference entitled “The cross-border cooperation – a way to the business development”, which later continued with a conference about the entrepreneurship focused on social activities.
Vessela Krasteva – Project coordinator, presented BCCI’s social activities. “Amongst BCCI’s realized activities of corporate social responsibility during the past year were sponsorships made to “St. Ivan Rilski” Daycare centre in Sofia; participations in charity events; language training; maintenance of the garden in front of BCCI’s building located at the corner between Iskar and Veslets streets”, added Vessela Krasteva.
