I wish you a peaceful, prosperous, generous and happy New Year 2013!



 

Dear colleagues and friends, 
 
True to tradition, at the end of each year and at the beginning of the New Year, BCCI reviews what has been achieved, makes plans for the future and prepares itself for the new challenges. 
 
Bulgarian companies will remember 2012 as a year marked by hardships in the national and world economy.
 
BCCI also went through severe trials but managed to maintain its position as internationally recognized employers’ organization. 
We attracted new key projects and intensified our contacts with the business community in the country and abroad. We took the initiative and participated actively in local and international conferences and forums. We expanded the scope of our activities in support of the internationalization of SMEs. We continued establishing relations with the academic circles. 
 
Our system expanded, we managed to become more united and more focused. We are ready to propose new business services and strategies to our members, through innovation and solutions for starting dialogue and establishing cooperation in new areas such as e-commerce, e-certificates, etc. 
 
We hope that our proposals, expressed with the clear support of more than 52 000 members, will be heard by the ruling and nationally responsible parties – participants in Elections 2013 for whom the prosperity of Bulgarian economy is of utmost importance. 
 
I avail myself of this opportunity to thank the companies – members of the Chamber for their trust in us even in times of difficulty and for taking the time to express their positions and propose new ideas. Due to their support we have preserved our leading position and remained true to our values. 
 
Regardless of the difficulties, I am convinced that we have evolved, become stronger and faced the hardships with patience and wisdom. We are full of optimism and expect new positive signals for the recovery of Bulgarian economy. 
 
I hope that during the new year with due diligence we will manage to ensure the well-being of our families, the prosperity of our business and a brighter future for Bulgaria!
