Once again BCCI brought joy to children deprived of parental care
On 16th December 2011, the management of the Bulgarian Chamber of Commerce and Industry visited Children’s Home “St. Ivan Rilski” in Sofia for children deprived of parental care, between 3 and 7 years of age.
The children from the Home received sweets on the occasion of the Christmas holidays. The children sang songs, recited poems and demonstrated dances mastered over the year.
BCCI is a long-standing sponsor of the Children’s Home and brings joy to the children on the occasion of all holidays. The Chamber’s priority, however, is year-long assistance and not only holiday initiatives and campaigns. In addition to the gifts, food products were delivered as well – canned foods, cheese, yellow-cheese, pasta, soap powder and cleaning products.
Every year BCCI covers the expenses of the children and the staff for their summer camp.
The funds annually presented by BCCI to the Children’s Home are used for clothes, shoes, bed linen, food, medicines and current repairs.
