BCCI organizes a meeting on the topic "Bulgaria - Israel: opportunities for business cooperation"

The Bulgarian Chamber of Commerce and Industry together with the Commercial Service at the Embassy of Bulgaria in Israel and the Federation of Israeli Chambers of Commerce and Industry is organizing an online meeting on the topic of Bulgaria - Israel: opportunities for business cooperation. The event will be held online on April 17, 2024 at 11:00 a.m.

The main goal of the initiative is to present the opportunities for trade, import and export of goods between the two countries. Emphasis will be placed on the conditions for importing into Israel, as well as on the production and export potential of specific sectors in Bulgaria.

Israel is an important and promising foreign trade partner of Bulgaria. Bulgarian-Israeli trade and economic relations have a long history and are developing positively on the basis of the well-established contractual and legal basis. In recent years, the exchange of goods between the Republic of Bulgaria and the State of Israel has developed dynamically, registering higher value volumes compared to the previous decade and diversifying the structure, which, however, is subject to further optimization and enrichment considering the export opportunities of both countries.

Among the leading positions in the exchange of goods with Israel in 2022, exports from Bulgaria predominate: petroleum oils, wheat, rye, barley, starch, cake, plastic elements, passenger cars, chemical elements, etc.

Among the leading positions in imports from Israel are: copper waste and debris, non-woven textile materials, insecticides, fungicides, herbicides, polymers, plastic elements, mineral and chemical phosphorus fertilizers, etc.

There are real opportunities for further optimization and enrichment of bilateral trade. Products such as mineral water, food products, rose oil, transformers, ferrous and non-ferrous products, plastics, furniture and wood products, chemical products, etc. can be pointed out as promising in this regard.

We invite you to participate in the virtual meeting, with pre-registration required by April 15 /Monday/. Registered participants will receive a link to connect. Participation is free. The working language of the event is English.
