Intensifying the partnership with Barcelona Chamber of Commerce and Industry

The President of the Bulgarian Chamber of Commerce and Industry Tsvetan Simeonov held a working meeting with members of Barcelona Chamber of Commerce and Industry - Gonzalo Sivatte and Miriam Company from the company Molins Defensa Penal. Branimir Botev, Executive Director of the European Institute for Strategies and Analysis, also took part in the meeting.

The guests presented their plans to support the entry of potential Spanish investors in Bulgaria. Gonzalo Sivatte shared the opinion that despite both countries’ EU membership Bulgaria is not well known for Spanish business.

Tsvetan Simeonov stressed the active cooperation between the BCCI and the Spanish Chambers of Commerce, both at national, regional, and European level within the Association of the European Chambers of Commerce and Industry (EUROCHAMBRES).

A number of initiatives were discussed to strengthen the interaction between business and chambers of commerce, including cooperation in the field of commercial arbitration, holding face-to-face and online events.
