Employers’ Organizations Meet the Candidates for President of the Republic of Bulgaria
The management of the Bulgarian Industrial Capital Association (BICA), the Bulgarian Industrial Association – Union of the Bulgarian Business (BIA) and the Bulgarian Chamber of Commerce and Industry (BCCI) will hold a series of meetings with the Candidates for President of the Republic of Bulgaria.
The meetings are organized at the invitation of the three nationally representative employers’ organizations and will be held in accordance with the preliminary agreement in the following order:
Meeting with Meglena Kuneva, nominated by Initiative Committee – on 10 October, Monday;
Meeting with Rosen Plevneliev, nominated by GERB – on 12 October, Wednesday;
Meeting with Ivaylo Kalfin, nominated by BSP – on 18 October, Tuesday.
All meetings will start at 2:00 p.m. in the Hall of BIA (16-20, Alabin Str., floor 1).
The invitation to the three Presidential Candidates cites:
“Recognizing the importance of the presidential institution as an important factor for political stability and predictability, both of the social and economic life and of legislation, we believe the debate will provide an up-to-date overview of the current economic situation and perspectives in the world, Europe and Bulgaria, and of how the state ensures security and facilitates the development of Bulgarian business.”
The meetings will be closed to journalists. After the discussions are over, the participants will come out with statements. Summarized information about the outcome of the meeting and photos will be disseminated by the press-centers of the organizers.
