The Bulgarian - Korean Chamber of Commerce and Industry is ready to assist in the import of medical devices from Korea

Plamen Kamburov, Deputy President of the Bulgarian - Korean Chamber of Commerce and Industry met with the President of BCCI Tsvetan Simeonov.

The achieved results and the signed Memorandum of Understanding between “St. Ivan Rilski” University Hospital and the Korea Digital Hospital Export Agency (KOHEA) were discussed. The memorandum is in the field of digital medicine and technology transfer, supply and training of staff in countries in need in the Middle East and Africa, and management of mobile hospitals with a command center in university centers or large hospitals. Korean and Bulgarian doctors and specialists will train doctors and specialists from third countries in the university hospital how mobile hospitals work. Korea is a leading country in the production and export of mobile hospitals in the world. In the light of the COVID-19 crisis, the possibility of importing PCR testing equipment from Korea was also discussed.
