Meeting with the Bavarian association Global Partners Bayern

At the initiative of Stefan Yonkov, Head of Bulgaria’s Commercial and Economic Section in Munich, the President of BCCI Tsvetan Simeonov spoke with Andrea Mewaldt, President of the Board of the Bavarian association Global Partners Bayern e.V , and Bernd Mattner, Member of the Board.

Stefan Yonkov briefly introduced the participants in the meeting. The aim was to negotiate future joint participations in projects between Bulgarian and Bavarian companies.

During the virtual meeting, Andrea Mewaldt explained that the assotiation develops its activities together with non-governmental organizations and various scientific institutes. It looking for development at the regional level in the field of automotive industry, energy, innovative clusters and others.

Tsvetan Simeonov presented the activity of BCCI and noted the excellent long-term cooperation with the German chambers of commerce and industry. He presented the system of 28 regional chambers at BCCI, the voluntary trade register with information about companies forming over 50% of Bulgaria’s GDP and over 75% of the country’s foreign trade. The President stressed that the BCCI is the 11^th chamber in the world, licensed by the International Chamber of Commerce as a certified issuer of foreign trade documents – Certificates of Origin. The activity of the digitalized Arbitration Court at the BCCI was also presented.

A future partnership in the interest of the companies from Bulgaria and Bavaria was agreed.
